Be sure to take the old one with you, if you go to NAPA or another auto parts place.

Not just for length, but the rating for lift.

It is stupid easy to replace and can be done in the parking lot. I got mine from the local Napa Auto store.

I couldn't find the one for my boat at Napa so I called Ranger. They sent it out that day.
Scratched my head for a minute trying to figure out how to install it, then the light went on and it was a breeze.

Yeah, I just bought 2 from C & C for $20 each for my Viper. They're pretty universal. Don't over think the install, they just pop on and off with pressure.

Do they attach with a ball and socket type arrangement?

I have a bunch of new bulk shocks that are Master-Lift model ML15-60. They are 13 7/8 in overall (extended length) and 8 3/4 in closed. My team partner replaced all his lifts on his Skeeter with these.

I'll sell these for $10.00 each shipped.

Yeah, they're ball and socket with a spring metal keeper. I used to use a screwdriver to pop the spring keeper off, blah blah etc., only to find that you can just pop em off and on with pressure. Only took 15 years to figure that one out.
