red one foretrex help

Just got the red one for my fortrex and instructions are not very good any tips for install no videos online for it i just want to make sure everything is good before i drill a hole thanks for any help. Also whats the best way to mount handle holder

I installed one on my Fortrex as well. I needed to call Danny and have him help. Drilling out the main TM rope access hole wasnt too difficult, but getting the stainless nut/sleeve aligned was a bit of a chore since there is verylittle room get tools to tighten nut on the sleeve. Other than that, once installed it works Dakine. As for mounting the holder, i wrap it around the TM cable and make a loose knot.

Thanks for the purchase and I will help any way I can. It's a scary thing to drill a hole in any expensive piece of equipment and I am very sensitive to your concern. Make sure you add your old washer to the Fortrex system before you install it. They are dealer install recommended but most guy's can do it with a little help.Dan Osullivan does a great job with videos and there is some good advice on his site. If you are located around Sacramento the guys at C&C marine will lend a hand and are great to help out anyone. The Modesto C&C store does install as well and think Gene at the hook does as well. Jared Litner is making a video that should help with the install also.
