Won Bass Lake Oroville vs Super Bowl - Poll

Post by WON BASSIN »

Guys,

I have been on the phone all morning and afternoon, calling all those that have registered for the upcoming Won Bass Lake Oroville Pro/Am this coming Feb 2-3. I will continue to call until every angler has been reached, but in the mean time I wanted to try and reach others that have not signed up yet and are either on the fence or dealing with Super Bowl issue.

I did not expect this year to be the year the 49ers made it to the Big Game! I am happy for those that are fans, but trying to make thing work as best as possible for the event as well.

Please take a moment to reply to the Poll as your input is greatly appreciated. Out of the many calls that I have made so far....99% of the Pro's and AAA's are in favor of the switch. The DFG is closed today for Martin Luther King Day, so I can not find out officially until tomorrow morning if the dates can be switched.

Thank you for your participation....

I really couldnt care about some retarded football game, but given the choice, i will go with the Friday and Saturday. I loose one day pre-fish if this is the what the majority decides.

Kane-o

I personally called every pre registered angler, both on the Pro and AAA side, and everyone was in favor of the change or not effected either way. I appreciate everyone's positive reaction towards what I feel is the right decision. Once I confirm with the DFG tomorrow, we will make the official announcement.

I had to pull out of FLW Oroville but am able to fish this one, and will. I cringed when I saw it was Superbowl Sunday and wont be pre-fishing anyway, so I'm for moving the dates if possible.

Can you share a boat count at this point?

So what is the boat count , because field size determines pay back?
the best way to catch a big one is don't lose um sharp hooks set drag retie!

There are more repsonses to the pole (36) than there are boats registered for the tourney.
I would rather jog home from my own Vasectomy than spend Saturday at the mall.

Boy good buddy, lesson learned I bet. I block out that weekend a few months out so I don't schedule any photo classes then, as the Super Bowl is the high holy day of the USA, no matter who is in the playoff. Just better to always work around that weekend, seems to me (although personally, I rather go bass fishing). :o

All I need to get into the money would be the four I usually get along with a 20# kicker.
