Stanton Marine closing

Post by Ralph »

Hello Fellas,
For those of you that know Stanton Marine in Ventura off of Stanley Ave, they are closing up shop and selling everything. They will be there until the end of the month which is soon, but they have a lot of stuff for sale, boats, props, electronics, wiring, windshields, trolling motors, motors, trailers etc. and all the little stuff that goes in a boat. I was very sad to be there today to see another small business go down because of the economy. If you guys have the time to visit there, please look around and maybe you will find something you might need or want for your boat. These guys were always cool, Cy and Steven, who always gave me a good deal on stuff. I'm not connected in any way, but a fellow fisherman trying to help others. Thank You.

Of course, I've made many a trip to Cy's over the years for assorted boat tests on Lake Casitas. But it's the economy, the distances and the quaggas that have all changed the way boaters travel and interact with their dealerships. In business, if Zody's and Woolworth's can disappear, then any single store can end up closing its doors--unfortunately.
