Just a thought! If you found out you could only fish one more time in your life and you had to pick one day and one place with a person or persons (cannot be wife/girl friend/ boyfriend or anyone whould give you grief about not getting picked); where would it be and who would it be with.
This can be a total fantasy dream trip with one of the greats, fishing buddy, grand father/mother, dad, mom, son, daughter whom ever, past, present or future.
It just should be the best and final day of bass fishing in your life.
If you could only fish one more time before the end of time!

Lake Isebella in it's glory days with the great dad who got this all started many moons ago. He would
have to catch the fast train from Heaven. He started Clint and I and that awesome lake. Man I miss my
dad. Oh if he couldn't make it then my bro Clint would be the man.

Lake would be Falcon in the spring. Picking a final partner would be tough.

To spend one more day with my dad and at any lake it would not matter.

I would choose Crystal Springs Reservoir in Hillsborough with my Dad who is now in an Alzheimer's care facility.
I snuck in there as a kid and caught bass and trout on nearly every cast. Also got caught once by a Ranger on Horseback. He let me go if I promised to "never do this again"...
It is totally fenced off and off limits to fishing. Luckily, his son was a good friend of mine at Burlingame Intermediate School....so he let me off the hook.
I know Crystal Springs Reservoir (along hwy 280) is the water supply for SF and the Peninsula but it makes no sense to have it closed to all fishing. I even spoke to (Mayor at that time ) slick Willy Brown about it and tried to impress upon him how much new revenue they could generate by allowing some fishing access. Naturally, his eyes lit up and his wheels started turning. He called me a few months later (returning my call) and said he could not get anywhere with this but said he did actually pursue it for a couple months to no avail.

Mine would be with my grandfather...us and everyone called him Pa. He was a hell of a fisherman and person. The location wouldn't matter to me but I'd take the Hallwood goldfields in early 70's. I'm lucky enough to still have my father and he's in good health.
