Can you all consider having the tournaments on Saturday and Sunday so that anglers dont have to take days off of work. I am fishing Mead but I would like to fish Clear Lake. There are only so many days and I have to play sick to fish on Fridays. I would have to take two days off to check in on Thursday to fish on Friday.

I use most of my vacation days fishing FLW Everstarts.

There are many planning reasons for the Friday/Saturday format. Here are just a couple. One reason is because we have anglers that choose not to fish on Sundays for religious reasons. We completely understand and respect their decision. While some regions have Sunday events, we want to offer showcase events to all of our members. Another consideration; many anglers travel great distances to compete in showcase events. For many, one travel day is required before and after the event.

...

Our Sponsors have asked us to have a limit that we believe we could fill. Lack of full fields is an issue with western tournaments to many sponsors. We told our sponsors that we believed that we could fill this respectable sized field. This shows a great commitment from the anglers that are interested in participating. With full fields, we can look forward to more and bigger opportunities for future American Bass events.
