If you dont have any, get yourself some fizzing needles and learn how to use them. One guy mentioned he was only fishing 20 ft, that is deep enough for them to need to be vented.

Fizz Your Fish
Went out fun fishing at Piru Saturday. I got off the water as a local T was releasing fish. I saw numerous bass floating dead on the shore, and others floating still alive that needed to be fizzed. I successfully vented 2 fish, a 3rd wasnt so lucky.
