line storage question
I am getting ready to buy bulk line. Because I will be spending alot of money of spools I would like some info on proper ways to store it. I know I should not keep it in the boat, in the truck or places that has direct sunlight or places that heat up. So I am wondering what is the best temperature and does humidity matter in storage. Looking for so knowledge and ideas from anyone willing to help. Thank you.
Re: line storage question
I've always kept mine in a sealed plastic box like Tupperware. It's lasted for years. I usually buy the larger 2-3k yard spools. Keep it out of the heat and direct sunlight. I store it in my home so it stays at a fairly constant temp. I keep filler spools on hand to take in the boat when I go.
