Government shutdown effect on Shasta

We just spoke with Shasta Recreation Company ( for those of you that aren't familiar with them, they are the private company that manages the public launching facilities on Shasta and Trinity ) All the public launching facilities have been closed on both lakes as of about twenty minute's ago. If you were planning a trip to Shasta, Bridge Bay is OPEN and to the best of our knowledge will remain so.
