Well, I just went through the same thing, and it has been a night mare. I moved from Manteca to Copperopolis and have a laundry list of what has gone wrong. Late escrow, delayed move, cancelled services, 6 flat wires (I'm having bad luck), busted pipes, no A/C at close of escrow as promised (had to buy window A/C units), poison oak, broken impeller, thought I had a hernia (found out it was the mussles that cross there) problems at my job, on and on. Just prepare yourself and hope you have better luck, and more $$ than I had saved. Now I'll be looking for a job in 2 weeks.
