Has anyone been out there lately? How is the bite?

I've been out there the last three days, twice in a kayak and once by boat. The bites been slow for me but haven't been skunked. Caught 8 on Wednesday, 5 on on Friday, and only 3 today. Have been catching them on jigs, shaker heads, and dropshot, been sticking to darker colors. Shaking heads have been doing most of the damage, had a lot of short strikes and one that broke me off (should have retied). Ran into Kent Brown on the way out, he said he was going to drag a jig and throw the bama rig. Get out and try it out, bites should only get better.
