I personally feel remiss and most other nutcases should feel the same, shamed that we have not given you the kudos for your fine finish in the Clear Lake BASS event.
Fine Job you have served all nutcases well in the large events that you have fished!!!
While I was fishing the A/C Toc I had in my mind the post you made about the fish scattering, with the weeds dying and that made them hard to catch because they were not bunched up any longer. I was never able to adjust to that pattern and you did!!! Kudos Dewayne!
All Kudos to a long time Nutcase Dewayne!!!

Very nice guy and I learned alot of great things from him. thanx DB for a good day on the water and congrats to your finish!!!...DanC
Re: Yip, I'm here
Thank You.
Actually Mark, they are bunching up again on winter areas. I noticed the weekend before that I was getting multiple fish out of areas. The prior weeks they seemed to be in transition and were really scattered. By the BASS they were bunched up and you could set on a spot for quite a while and pull repeated fish off areas. We had 2 docks with rock where we probably pulled 50 fish between the two over the 3 days. The fish were still scattered around the docks and I used a C-rig so I could cover a lot more water. I was just covering a lot in a small place if that makes sense.
Dan,
I felt for you bud. You were just having one of those bad days where nothing seems to work. I've been there before as most of us have. You fished well, they just did not want to play with you on Saturday. I had a great time and once again thanks!!!
It was a fun tournament, but I wanted to win this one. I can normally catch a kicker a day in October, but this year was different and I never did catch a kicker fish.

Re: Yip, I'm here
Dewayne,
Thanks for that post, in hindsight and moving forward to my next event on that body of water(hopefully)and what a bad showing we had at the TOC there were many times I gave up on an area too soon. It was a winner take all event and I do not fish Clear Lake enough to call myself proficient there, thus I gave up on areas that were producing just days before. You got in my head about scattering fish, good tactic to throw us others off!! HAR
I think about Folsom, Oroville etc. where I fish alot and have confidence I can go back even though the spot did not produce earlier in the day, but whamo the fish are back. Sit and wait!!
Thanks for the post and good fishing to you!!

Re: What???
I was not trying to throw anyone off. My pre-fishing stunk. My best day was 14# and several days were 10#. While I saw some fish beginning to congregate on the sunday before the BASS it was not till day 2 that I realized how thick they were in some areas.
