HH 7 Gen1--looking to upgrade
I have a HD7, when I purchased the Navionics maps the unit became very slow on the maps. I have upgraded software, but not much improvement. What do you recommend to upgrade too.. Gen 2 touch or new gen 3... thanks

It depends on your budget. The Gen 2's are reduced in price with the Gen 3's coming out. The Gen 3's will be at retail prices. Check them all out and make your decision.
The processor in the Gen 1's was very slow, but 6 or 7 years ago the price of the faster processors was more. Watch the prices of processor speed and size of storage. They keep getting faster and bigger for less money. The Gen 2's were able to benefit from a much faster processor at the same price as the Gen 1's. It's amazing what a few years can do.
Just imaging what we will be using in 6 to 8 years from now...
