Don Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund Tournament
California Delta, Russo's Marina

The weather cooperated and 65 teams showed up to fish the 2nd Annual Don Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund Tournament out of Russo's Marina on the California Delta today. The 1st place team was Jared Lintner and Ken Mah (part of last years winning team) with a 5 fish limit weighing 20 pounds 9 ounces. Close by in 2nd place with 20-4 was the team of Mark Lassagne, who also won the Steve "Smitty" Smith Big Fish Award with a 7-14 pounder, and Angelo Alorre. Rounding out the top 5 were the teams of Juan Acosta and Mike Gutierrez 19-8, Ash Twigg and Tim Brown 18-12 and Travis Huckaby and Richard Antonnucci 16-13.

After the weigh in Don Lee's family awarded the 2015 Don Lee Scholarships to Mike Miller, of Rohnert Park and Alec Pitt of Santa Rosa, the two winners of the TBF/FLW 2015 California High School Championship.

Following that we conducted a raffle for prizes provided by: FLW, TBF, Ranger Boats, Dobyns Rods, Ultimate Bass Radio, Strike King Lure, Reaction Innovations, S & E boat cleaning products, Dan's Delta Outdoors, Hook, Line and Sinker, C & C Marine, Angler's Marine, Rodbender lures, Bobby D Custom Baits, Miller Fishing Products, Charlie Almassey, Plano, etc. Trophies were provided by Future Pro Tour

A special thanks to Chuck Russo's and his team at Russo's Marina for providing excellent support for our crew and all of the anglers. There is no better place to fish out of on the Delta!
