BBT Family,
The third event of the season for the Central Trail is this Saturday, April 5th at Don Pedro. We will be launching out of Fleming. The bite has been very good and the weather looks great for Saturday. If you have registered online, there will be a separate line for you to check in. I will have your registration forms printed out already. I hope to see you all there and wish you all the best of luck.
Registration - I will be at the store above the restrooms at 4:00 am.
Boat Inspections - will be at the restrooms, please register, then have your boat inspected and and have the ribbon tied to your trolling motor
Check in - Will be at the gas dock at the marina, if we do not have a check in boat. Please look for the yellow safety vest
Blast Off - As of right now, I will blast off at safe light from the dock. If you could position your boat to the left, with the big engine off, so the announcements can be heard by all.
Weigh in - Will be on the gas dock at the marina, the side facing the launch ramp.
Off limits - Fleming Meadows marina and any gas dock are off limits. The creek will be open, but you must idle past the buoy and turn around to enter.
5 MPH - Please do not pass another boat and adhere to it, while in the 5 MPH
Distance - Please try and maintain some distance from another boat, courtesy and sportsmanship
Membership - Please check to see if your membership dues are up to date(can be paid online). This will help streamline the registration process.
California Invasive Species - This form will be available at the registration table and all boats must have one filled out and please have your CF number written on it. Take a picture of it with your phone so you have proof while on the water.
