Pls save your self sometime and don't look anywhere else.. CALL 1800BASSBOAT - give Stan a call, he will help you out and give you the coverage you need and deserve at a price you can afford.

I was at a high school tournament and suffered some pretty bad damages to my hull, the adjuster showed up @ my house to look at the boat and now my check is in the mail for repairs.. easy process great customer service !!! We never think of insurance till we need it ...

I called Ben Green to support the companies that support us fishing. Not only is Ben Green a bass fisherman too. He supports tournament fishing with contingency payouts for the wild west bass trail and other promotions that I've seen at other tournament events. Fishermen should support other fishermen in their business when they can. Not to mention that he saved me money on a better policy.

Ken and Stan have been doing this a long, long time, and they are hands down IMHO the best in the business.
I have never had any issues on any number of claims I've had over the past 22 years.

I've seen and heard all kinds of horror stories from friends in and out of the industry regarding their companies,
and most are now with 1-800-Bass-Boat!

You really want do to your homework, ask service dealers be it fiberglass, or mechanical their opinions, they deal with it everyday. I did, and I'm glad I followed their advice WAY back when.

I've had good luck purchasing boat insurance through Geico, which basically gets you SkiSafe insurance. Never had any issues with claims and they say it's replacement cost insurance, in case of a total loss. With the current value of used bass boats, your boat is worth more than you think it is. Be sure to not ignore the amount your rig is insured for.

Stan is a good dude. I called to get a quote and we ended up talking for an hour. Very knowledgeable, straight forward and coverages designed for us. He'll have my business for years to come.

That said I have heard the same about Ben Green.

I have Foremost Insurance, part of the Farmer's Group. In the last four years, I've had my trailer totaled and replace, and I'm about to have wake-caused damage to my fiberglass repaired, to the tune of $8k.
They have never blinked, and haven't canceled me, either.

i have 1800 bass boats as well, this year i took a moment to shop them around to other policies and called Stan to review them at the end of the phone call i renewed with 1800Bass Boats - these guys literally wrote bass boat policies with anglers in mind. Do your home work line up your short list but i strongly recommend to do yourself a favor and at least CALL Stan with your policy questions and comparisons. The one claim i had was handled swiftly and to my satisfaction at no additional premium hikes.

No disrespect to other sponsors on the website but the guys are 100% correct 1800 bass boat is very incredible.

I just finished a claim (my second) and it was just like the first absolutely incredible service. Stan and Ken do a great job and really understand Bass Boats and fishing. I really appreciate that Ben Green supports the WWB and West Coast Fisherman.

I've been with 1-800 for many years now. Hit wood at the delta like 40 days after getting the insurance and the carrier they used (Ace Marine, not Chubb) took care of it no problem. I've been in the insurance industry for about 16 years and 5+ of those years as an agent/broker, so I know how bad it looked to make a claim so fast after starting a new policy. I was REALLY pleased with the claim service and been lucky not have needed it since that time.

I have heard MANY good things about Ben as well and would give him a shot if I no longer have the option or am happy with my current. I will say this, regardless of who you go with make sure they have an understanding of bass boats and tournament fishing to ensure you are going to have coverage when you really need it. It's a horrible thing to find out you are not going to be covered in a loss because your loss is not eligible under your insurance contract because of say "competition". I deal with large claim reviews all the time and it's a BAD deal when the insured finds out their loss is not covered under the covered peril. Ask questions.. be honest in how you use your boat too.
