2024 Trips to El Salto and Picachos

Prime dates at Anglers Inn properties at Lake El Salto and Lake Picachos continue to be in high demand. Some of them are fully booked a year or more in advance. Fortunately, the owners have allowed me to hold some blocks of rooms, but they’re going fast. If you’re considering a 2024 trip, let’s get you on the books ASAP. The following are what I have on hold:

• El Salto — February 17-24 (1 room left)

• Combo Trip (with an extra day at El Salto — February 24-March 1 (5 rooms left)

• El Salto June 22-29 — (6 rooms left)

All of those are Saturday to Saturday, which provide the best and most reliable travel options. I can of course book you for other dates, and for other periods of time (shorter or longer) as availability allows. While I have your attention, I also want to offer up some good news about our May 2024 tuna popping trip to Panama. We had initially planned to have a total of eight anglers on two boats, but demand quickly outstripped that supply. We now have 11 anglers booked (including me and Pete), which required a third boat. That in turn means we have room for one more angler — so if this is something you’ve always wanted to try, but can’t find a friend to join you, JUMP on this opportunity while you can.
