Pine Flat is the next stop for the Central Region this Saturday February 13th at the Deer Creek Launch Ramp with sign-ups starting at 4am. Also our Coastal Region will be at Lake Nacimiento at the Main Ramp starting at 5am.

With recent weights over 20lbs, being caught at Pine Flat and Lake Naci starting to pick up, the reaction bite has started and there are a couple of baits that could help you fill your limit.

First start out by using your mapping feature on your Lowrance Electronics http://www.lowrance.com/en-US/ and find points that are holding fish. There are two reaction baits that you should look into using, one would be the IMA Flit http://imalures.com/ either the 100 or the 120 depending how deep the fish are and the second one is the brand new Berkley Cutter jerkBaits http://www.berkley-fishing.com/.

Then you can work those same points with football head jigs with a Berkley Havoc's The Deuce twin tail grub. Also don't over look using a drop shot with either a Berkley Havoc Bottom Hopper or the Berkley PowerBait's Pro Twitch Tail Minnow. Another important key this time of year is your fishing line.

Fluorocarbon line is your best bet because of it's sinking ability and for it's invisibility. So make sure you spool up with Berkley's Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon XL for all of your spinning reels and the regular Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon for your baitcatsers. We hope these little tips will help you put a few more fish in the boat this weekend so "Let's Get on Those Fish"
