The new 25 Tatula Bass Rods are not just a reintroduction, they're the next evolution in affordable technique-specific bass rods. Now featuring Daiwa's high-density SVF graphite, which uses less resin to bind the graphite fibers, resulting in a lighter rod without sacrifice to its strength. The increased graphite density means faster energy transfer from the rod tip to the anglers hand, giving anglers almost hair-detecting sensitivity. The SVF graphite is constructed using Daiwa's X45 bias process, wrapping the layers at crossing 45-degree angles to perfectly spine the rod and prevent twisting of the blank, both factors greatly improve casting accuracy and hook-driving power. The rod is adorned with Fuji O concept guides with deep-pressed aluminum oxide rings within the guide frame provide long lasting protection and plenty of clearance for braid-leader connections. New custom Tatula reel seats serve a form fitting grip to ease arm and wrist fatigue. A custom lock nut on the real seat provides ample grip to firmly secure your reel to the rod. Subtle yet distinguished spiderweb cosmetics ease identification on the deck and premium cork grips give timeless appeal and comfort. With 23 technique specific rods, including 2 Glatech fiberglass construction models, the new Tatula Bass Rods have got your bass covered.

    Westernbass Magazine, Spring 2025

Hi All, It looks like spring is on the horizon and we will soon be on our way to a new spawn! It was exciting to see some of the big bass that already have been caught in the early waves such as the double-digit on the cover with WesternBass mag contributor John Liechty and also the teener that has been making its way through social media pages caught by Gary Collins Jr. at Clear Lake. It is so good to see that the big ones like that are still out there! I hope to see even more as the season goes on. It looks like all the tournament organizations are off to a good start with participation and catches. I am hoping that the local lakes figure out a plan regarding Golden Mussels to allow us all to use there facilities this year. I am anxious Sites reservoir turns into the next bass fishing destination soon, like we discussed in the last issue of the magazine, When thinking about your fishing needs, please keep in mind the advertisers that help keep this magazine and website available to you. I would like to express my own appreciation for another year of support from the WesternBass advertisers and welcome our newest advertiser, joining us in 2025 – G-Ratt Baits. As always, tight lines! Wayne
