Join Zach & Virginia from Gate Crashers along with Todd Storm & Dylan Stompe from the California Dept. Of Fish & Wildlife for an interesting and informative morning of sturgeon fishing. Learn the basics of fishing roe & eel as we catch several sturgeon for Dylan to tag & collect data to better understand the status of Delta sturgeon. Dylan also tags several fish with reward tags that you can redeem for up to $150. (Currently, all new tags are worth $150!) Includes a special segment with Dylan, Zach and two teams from the CDFW conducting a regular trammel net survey to collect data and insert pit tags as well as reward tags.
