Last year's and this year's salmon fishery

State and federal fishery managers are releasing info about last year's and this year's salmon fishery.
At this time last year they predicted there were about 271,000 adult salmon from the Sacramento Basin out in the ocean. After fishing and counting fish that returned to spawn, they upped that number to 322,000.
For 2022, they believe there are a little over 396,000 Sacramento Basin adult salmon in the ocean. Obviously if this is correct, everyone should see a slightly better season than last year.
