Mercury Marine to Power the Wild West Bass Trail for 2020

Glendale, Ariz. - New for the 2020 season, Mercury Marine, the world leader in marine propulsion and technology, will join the Wild West Bass Trail as part of the largest exclusive west coast tournament organization in the bass fishing industry.

Mercury Marine, a dominant product on the West Coast, offers a new design and performance for boat owners and now will bring that excitement to the WWBT tournament anglers and events.

"We welcome Mercury Marine as the exclusive motor sponsor of the Wild West Bass Trail," said Jeremy DeHart Wild West Bass Trail executive director of operations. "With plans for on and off the water demonstrations at tournaments, our circuit will be the perfect showcase for their outboard engines."

The joint partnership of Mercury Marine and the WWBT will not only provide interactive demos for anglers and event attendees, Mercury will add to the tournament purse through a planned participant contingency program and boost organization and angler exposure by powering a filmed tips and technique segment for the Wild West Bass Trail televised shows and videos.

"Mercury Marine is looking forward to partnering with a great tournament circuit like the Wild West," said Kevin Linehan Mercury business development manager. "There's a lot of buzz surrounding the organization and Mercury is proud to be on board."
