Mercury Opens New Canadian Facility

Mercury's new 50,000-square-foot facility will serve the company's dealer network in western Canada.

Mercury Marine opened a new facility in Langley, British Columbia.

The 50,000-square-foot facility will be the new home of Mercury Marine Canada and Land 'N' Sea Canada and will serve Mercury's dealer network in western Canada.

"This new facility will help us better serve our customers across all of Canada," Mercury Canada general manager Georges Jalbert said in a statement. "Having the ability to expand the market to the western half of the country and provide immediate attention to our customers is paramount to our growth and our success in Canada."

The facility opened Monday and is fully operational. Before the expansion, all finished goods were shipped from Milton, Ontario. Now engines, parts and accessories will be available from British Columbia to allow customers to receive orders faster.

"This is an exciting time for Mercury Marine," Jalbert said. "As we close out 2015, we continue to grow and continue to look for ways to better serve our customers. This facility in British Columbia allows us to do that."
