The New Ranger L Series at C & C Marine

If you live in California, you are probably well aware of C & C Marine.

They have been a Ranger dealer for over twenty years and have been in business since 1983. They are deeply rooted in the bass fishing community and understand the needs of bass anglers.

General Manager Richard Antonucci has seen many innovations in bass boats during his time at C & C and is very excited about Ranger’s newest line of premium bass boats.

The “L” Series

This year, Ranger unveiled the Comanche L series, which is a line of boats that celebrates their 50th anniversary.

The boat itself offers the same great smooth and dry ride that Ranger is known for and also adds some new cosmetic features to set it apart. Antonucci shares some of the major differences with this compared to previous Ranger boats.

  • Comfort - One thing Ranger has done on the Ranger Comanche L series is to make the seats more comfortable. They are also noticeably bigger. “They have an adjustable driver seat as a standard feature and they also have passenger assist handles for rough water,” he says. Ranger calls them Ultra-Comfort bucket seats and according to Antonucci, they are the most comfortable boat seats he has seen in his two decades of selling Ranger boats.
  • Hull - Ranger also redesigned the hull. “It is what they call a fourth generation hull. The entire thing is designed by a computer and the boat looks much different than previous hulls but gives you the same ride you can expect from a Ranger,” shares Antonucci. “Overall, this it is a much better ride."
  • Styling - Looking at the L series you will notice a new, modern look. “One thing that they added was more defined lines. It is very stylish and the lines are raised and 3D to give it a different look,” he says. C & C can order one of the standard color packages or order you a custom color package created on the Ranger website. The L series also has L.E.D. lights throughout the interior and trailer for both function and a little extra style.

In Stock Now

They are always getting new boats in at C & C and currently have nearly twenty new models available.

In the L Series, they have a Z521L, a top of the line Ranger that is fitted with a Minn Kota Ultrex and 250 horsepower Mercury OptiMax. “Our inventory is always changing and we are happy to order boats for customers and that is something we are doing nearly every day,” he says.

Why C & C?

C & C is annually recognized as one of the Top 100 Ranger Dealers (out of 500+) and often is ranked within the top 20. This has led to many new and repeat customers every year.

“We put customer service as our number one priority and do whatever we can to take care of our customers,” he says.

Tackle

C & C is a bass focused dealership and carries a full selection of tackle.

“We carry all of the popular brands; Daiwa, Dobyns rods, Yamamoto, Strike King, Huddleston and more,” adds Antonucci. “We like to say that we supply everything but the fish.”

They offer many incentives for their customers who buy a Ranger or Triton including discounts, free products, and jerseys.

Tritons, too

The Modesto location is focused on Ranger sales from fiberglass bass boats to aluminum and even Ranger pontoons and fish and ski models.

The Citrus Heights location carries Triton Boats.

No matter which of the two brands you are looking into, C & C can help. They currently have some of the most popular Tritons in stock including the 20TRX and 18 TX aluminum.

Service, Pre-Owned and Fiberglass Repair

At both their Modesto and Citrus Heights locations they are ready to service and repair your outboard. They have certified technicians and have won multiple awards for their service. In addition to Mercury and Yamaha, they also work on Evinrude outboards. No matter which of the major engines you run they can get you back up and running in no time if you have an issue.

Their used inventory is constantly changing as they take boats in from customers who purchase brand new Triton and Rangers. Another thing that differentiates C & C is that they are a full-service fiberglass repair shop. They can handle any issues with fiberglass damage right there in the shop.

There are many options when it comes to boat dealers. Finding the right one and also finding one that understands bass fishing and how it works can make a difference and ensure that you get the perfect boat for your needs.
