New State Fish Art Contest Host

Wildlife Forever Welcomes Minnesota Conservation Volunteer as New State Fish Art Contest Host

White Bear Lake, MN- Wildlife Forever is proud to announce a newly developed partnership with Minnesota Conservation Volunteer magazine (MCV) as the Official State Host for the Minnesota Fish Art Contest. Minnesota students between kindergarten and 12th grade will have the opportunity to participate in this free program for a chance to win state and national honors, awards and prizes.

As host for the Minnesota division, MCV staff will receive physical entries from all MN participants and work with their chosen judges to select their winners. The first 300 participants will receive a one-year gift subscription to MCV simply by submitting their entry.

MCV has served as a source of valuable information for Minnesotans statewide since the 1940’s and continues to thrive to this day. Readers across the state learn about conservation efforts and issues and get inspired to engage their love for the outdoors.

Minnesota Conservation Volunteer is honored to host the 2022 Minnesota Fish Art Contest,” said MCV editor in chief Chris Clayton. “Like Wildlife Forever, the magazine has deep roots in youth conservation education. Hosting the Fish Art Contest is a great opportunity to build on that legacy.”

Winners will be selected in four grade categories, Kindergarten-3rd grade, 4th-6th grade, 7th-9th grade, and 10th-12th grade.

“I’m thrilled to have MCV as host of the Minnesota contest. This partnership will engage youth all over the state to celebrate fish and discover conservation through the arts,” said Pat Conzemius, President and CEO at Wildlife Forever.
