The SonarChart™ Live feature allows to create an HD bathymetry map in real time on the Navionics Boating app when connected wirelessly to a sounder. Now it contains two new features that enhance a users experience!
Depth Contour Values
The HD bathymetry map allows users to see depth values that now get added to the contour lines when creating SonarChart™ Live. The depth values will assist fishermen in targeting fish at different levels and offer cruisers the detail they need to help understand the seabed.
Tide/inland water level
The Navionics Boating app now allows users to select the tide station most relevant to them or adjust inland water level to prevent inconsistencies within the SonarChart™ Live. This is due to the fact that in some regions marine tide or inland water level fluctuations can cause data collected in an area to be different from one moment to another. In other regions where tides or inland water levels are not relevant and won’t affect the map, users can simply toggle this feature off from Menu>Map Options>Water level correction.
