Bass Pro Shops set to kick off 50th Anniversary Celebration, grandest event in fishing and conservation history with special ceremony on March 30 in Springfield, Mo.

Special advance ticket pricing provides opportunity for fans of all ages to enjoy five days of historic sales, seminars and the best of country music

WHAT: The eyes of the outdoor, fishing and entertainment worlds will be on Springfield, Mo., as Bass Pro Shops kicks off the largest event in fishing history – the World’s Fishing Fair – with an official Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, March 30.

The Opening Ceremony at Bass Pro Shops “Grandaddy Store” and National Headquarters will convene celebrities, conservation leaders and fanfare for a can’t-miss moment. The ceremony will feature a B-2 Stealth Bomber flyover, a salute to veterans and musical performance from Lee Greenwood, as well as special announcements from Bass Pro Shops, Missouri Governor Mike Parson and national conservation leaders.

Following the ceremony, the unique five-day celebration that commemorates Bass Pro Shops’ 50th Anniversary will begin. The World’s Fishing Fair boasts an all-star lineup of country music stars (Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Chris Janson, Dierks Bentley, and more), America’s top fishing pros, NASCAR legends, top outdoor personalities and leading conservation organizations. With more than 500,000 square feet of tackle and equipment, bargain tent sales of factory closeouts and overstock, a kids activity area and one-of-a-kind lineup of America’s favorite fishing boats and all-terrain vehicles, the World’s Fishing Fair offers something for fans of all ages,

Fifty percent of all ticket sales will benefit conservation efforts. Special advance ticket pricing starts at $5 for youth guests (ages 9-16 years old) and $10 for adults for all five days of activities, with kids ages 8 and under receiving free admission. Concert tickets must be purchased separately as availability permits. All World’s Fishing Fair tickets can be purchased online at basspro.com/fishingfair.
