I dont know the shaft size, its on a 2003 Ranger 520.

Can you tell me how long your shaft is?
99% of bass boats are short shaft. But there is still that
1%.

The shaft is standard short bass boat shaft.
Im located in Citrus Heights if anyone wants to look at it.
Motor has been sitting in the garage on the boat for 3 months now. The boat is a project and I dont know when Ill finish it. I dont want to let the motor just sit the whole time so thats why its for sale.

Did you ever get the most recent service records? Also, I never got any pics or the serial number I requested awhile back. Please post up some pictures or Email them to me. A few good pics or two will sell it. Did you ever find out why a new lower unit was installed? Did it hit something?

I know you mentioned that it was on a project boat for 3 months. Was it ever turned over during the 3 months? Fuel Stabilizer added or Fogged before storing?

Also, a pic of the smartcraft would help too.

Would be willing to make the drive up to see it, but I would like to have some idea first on the history and current condition of the motor.

Serviced at 83.3 HRS and 161HRS
Lower unit replaced under warranty 4/14/12 Prop seal water leak
Six coils replaced at 7/1/11
Merc fuel stabilizer was installed 3months ago at last start up.
Boat is stored in a garage in Sacramento Climate. Its not cold here.
