2014 Mercury 250 pro xs blown engine parts

Post by boats »

Hi guys,I blew my 2014 Mercury 250 pro xs with 765 hours on it. Was still running very strong when I blew the motor on my Basscat.I repowered to the new 4 stroke so i decided to part the blown motor out. If you need anything from cowling to lower unit let me know. I have a second backup torque master gen 2 available with less hours but the corner of the skag hasbroken away from falling on the concrete in my garage. I also have a 6 hole(for Basscats) 8" slide master jackplate,a R&R dual battery tray, and a Motorguide Digital Tour 109 with gatormount available as well as a 26 Fury, thanks Robert 702-408-1190

Is the whole motor still intact? Did you pop the Powerhead, or was it worse? and what would you be asking for the complete motor? also if you are going to a 4 stroke, are you going to be able to use the controls that are on the boat now? I would probably need the controls also. My Evinrude is OMC that is blown and the controls are different, and I will never buy a boat with OMC on it again. Lol Thank You

I was able to use the controls on the new 4 stroke. I'm asking 3500 for the whole motor with the gen 2 torque master LU,but I have someone coming to buy it next weekend so sale is pending for now.
