The new Angler’s Press Outdoors – Pro Team Tour, which begins Saturday March 15th on the California delta, is ready to rumble for its inaugural opening event and is pleased to announce a big change to its signup format – to the benefit of participating anglers.
It is no longer required to pre-pay for the entire season to participate in this new series, as entries into each event will now be taken on a first-come-first served basis.
What this means:
Teams can now individually pre-sign for any of the three events by calling the Angler’s Press Outdoors offices prior to the event, which will guarantee them a berth in the event.
Teams can sign-up for the event, the morning of the event - at the ramp. Sign-ups taken the morning of the event – at the ramp, will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, but once a field of 65 teams is reached, no more entries will be taken, as the field will be capped for that event at only 65 teams.
Remember, each event features a $7,000 1st place prize on only a full 65-boat field, pays $1,000 for tenth place (which is over 2-times the entry fee), pays $1,000 for the Fisherman's Warehouse big fish bonus, and features a limited 21-boat, NO ENTRY FEE year-end championship, with $15,000 going to 1st place.
A low-entry ($425 per team), high payout format is what northern California anglers have been asking for, and it is finally here, so make sure you get registered while there is still room!
