anyone check out them Carrot Stix at I-Cast?

some sharp lookin' rods! supposedly almost as light as the Steez and made from real carrot fibers :lol: they took the ICAST best of show. This might be one carrot worth danglin' in front of Mr. Bass

Had a chance to handle the carrot stix, the one that won was a crankin rod.

It was heavy (to me) but the cact it has no cork was nice, over all I did not care for it.

I saw a few rods I liked more, thats just me

Same here. It was hevier than graphite. I didnt like it. I did like the new Shimano's and the Dobyns rods.

I totally agree that the carrot rod was not only heavy, there was no balance to it either.

The Dobyns swimbait rods felt as light as some of the competitors finesse rods.
