TWIIIIING! That was the sound of Manny's hamstring yesterday... He says its nothing serious, just trying to cut a ball off down the line.

It reminded me of a funny Manny being Manny moment a few seasons ago. Johnny Daman played a ball in deep left centerfield and obviously, with his 3rd grade arm, had to hit the cut-off man with the throw back to the infield. What we didnt know was Manny was standing in shallow left center and decided HE was going to be the cut-off man...in all my years of playing and watching baseball, I had never seen anything like that before.

Does anyone else have a Manny being Manny highlight????

If Manny got 4 AB's in spring he would still hit his stride by about pitch #4 of his first AB of the regular season...as much of a knucklehead as the guy is, I will watch to see what he does this year. Afterall, the World Series will go thru Anaheim this year
