I just looked up the directions to Barrett tonight and can't seem to get any good descriptive directions. I'm coming from the L.A. area and am fishing Barrett for my first time with a friend this coming Saturday.
Can anybody, PLEASE, help me out with directions to Barrett Lake from the L.A. area?

5 Fwy south -- 805 South -- East on I-8 Fwy.
35 miles east of San Diego. From Interstate 8, turn south on Japatul Road, left on Lyons Valley Road, 6 miles to gate. From Highway 94, turn west on Honey Springs Road, right on Lyons Valley Road, 1.7 miles to the gate. Access is available only through Lyons Valley Road, Barrett Junction Road is CLOSED.
