Gonna be staying in Santa Rosa for a few days. Where should I do some fishing from the shore in the area, without really going too far or leaving the city area? And what should I throw at 'em?
Thanks,
Erik

Spring Lake, home of the whoppers. Least it was at one time.
Spring Lake Regional Park - 391 Violetti Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, between Annadel State Park and Howarth Park (City of Santa Rosa).
Directions to park: Hwy. 12 east, left at Farmers Lane (Hwy. 12), right on Montgomery Drive, right on Channel Drive, right on Violetti Drive.
