Bass Lake - El Dorado Hills/Cameron Park area

Has anyone fished here? How is the fishing? Is this a private lake? Can I bring a boat on it?

Years ago!!!!!!! I mean years ago you could get in and fish it, but it is completely shut down to the public now. A private community surrounds it now!!

Awe yes, the good ole days. Back in 1982 we would hop the fence at night and catch 2 to 5 pounders with a 7 being the largest. This place was loaded back then. Not sure about now. It was so dark there because back then, there was only one house in that area and that was the caretakers house. It was so much fun throwing spooks. you would work it back, hear a splash, then feel the fish. We use to go there instead of going to highschool parties. It was some good times.
