Bass Magnet crankbait

Post by Basslab »

Anyone out there know where I may be able to find a Bass Magnet crank bait? BPS used to offer them but can't find them there or anywhere else and have been surfing the web for days without any success. I don't recall who made them but when I initially bought some many years ago I called somewhere in the northeastern states and had them shipped. Billy Westmoreland used them on a show once and had a killer day and I soon found out why once I received them. Thanks for any help.

Wow, I guess I should pull out the ones I have had since I seen what was probrably that same fishing show with Billy Westmorland. I have had some luck over the years with them, I replaced the hooks with some that were a little bit larger and it seem to help with landing more fish. Good luck on finding them, I haven't seen them advertised for a few years now. maybe you could contact BPS and ask them who made them.
Don't ask about my username, all I need to say is check yours and check them often.

There are (at least) three for sale on eBay...

at the following site:

That auction is running for the next four days.

They were made by an outfit called Bass Hunter. Cabelas used to carry them also, but they're not in the Cabela's catalog any more, either.

Good luck on getting some...people who have used them seem very impressed by them.
