Bass West USA Television nominated for Emmy Award

Bass West USA Television has been nominated for an Emmy award for its Episode #1 “The Motherlode” by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Southeast Chapter.

Adam Paul, owner of Catch Multimedia, the production company for Bass West USA Television responded by saying, “a massive amount of time and effort has gone into the making of this production. I am very proud and honored to have the series receive this recognition and it is a great payoff for all the hard work and long hours everyone has put into making this program a reality”.

Bass West USA TV host/executive producer Jamie Cyphers stated, “I could not be more excited to have the show receiving this kind of attention – especially since it was our very first episode that garnered the nomination”. “The quality of each and every episode of Bass West USA TV is constantly on the upswing and I am truly looking forward to blowing our viewers minds in the coming season.

Mark Mendez publisher/owner of the MAM Marketing group of properties echoed Cyphers in his excitement of this great honor. “We have already won awards for the series and are expecting more outdoor awards, but an Emmy really separates Bass West USA television from other outdoor programming”.

Along with Bass West USA Television, only two other shows were nominated in this category: “27G - Television news and program excellence – Program series”. The Southeast Chapter Emmy awards ceremony will take place on June 9th, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia.

First airing in late 2011, the show has been achieving outstanding ratings and gains in viewer ship as noted by Kantar ratings tracked by the Pursuit channel. Bass West USA TV broadcasts are currently reaching over 110 million households weekly. Bass West USA Television can be viewed on the Pursuit Channel (Dish Channel 240 - Direct TV channel 608), Wild TV in Canada and Europe, Untamed Sports, Mid-Co Sports in the Upper Midwest, TUFF TV, and My Outdoor TV.Com. Deals with other additional networks to pick up the program for the 2013 season are currently in the works. Check with your local stations for broadcast days and times.

maybe they will fix their website so we can watch all the shows online rather than lake fork on every link.

Great show but only can watch it on Direct TV on the pursuit channel have to watch it at a friends house.

You didn't mention what you were nominated for, so I went to the Emmy site to try and find out. http://www.emmys.tv/awards/64th-primetime-emmy-awards
It says that the nominations come out in July 2012 for Primetime emmy's???
So I followed the link to daytime Emmy's and I didn't see you mentioned there either. http://www.emmyonline.org/mediacenter/

In what exact category and for what award were you nominated ? It would be nice to see a bass fishing show win something, but frankly I don't the first show was very good.

I appreciate your efforts to track down our nomination as it is a difficult one to find. It actually took me quite a bit to find it as well.

Emmy awards are divided into several regions across the US based upon where a show is first aired. We first aired BASS WEST USA TV in the south and that is why our nominations appear there instead of the west. Click on the link shown for a complete list of southeast region nominees:

We are shown on page 15 and as previously mentioned in the press release, the nomination was for Outstanding Achievement: Television News and Program Specialty Excellence m- Category: 27G Program Series.

The awards will be announced on June 9th and we will keep everyone posted.
