The official announcement:
Dear BassFan Readers:

As you may have noticed, new content has not been posted to BassFan.com recently. That’s because in an effort to streamline production, new BassFan articles, Dock Talk news items and BassFan Opinion, such as the weekly Balog’s Bass War written by Joe Balog, have been and will continue to be posted to the In-Fisherman website as part of an ongoing merger of the two sites.

It’s a work in progress and there shouldn’t be any disruption for readers, other than retraining yourself to visit In-Fisherman and update the BassFan bookmark in your browser. BassFan.com, which will turn 25 years old in 2026, will remain online and archived content will remain available. This move will allow for BassFan articles to be supported by larger and more images as well as video content, where appropriate, and strengthen In-Fisherman’s position as the world’s leading authority on freshwater fishing, now offering the latest news and developments from the competitive bass fishing tournament scene.

If you have any questions or concerns, please drop us a note at editorial@bassfan.com.
