Yeah it was all my fault - even for the 5 years before I even knew what the magazine was.... and ever since I left in February (with a magazine ready to go to print) - they've been rolling in the doors huh?

All me! You're a bright one!

Tom,
From people that I know that know you; "he's a great guy who'll go out of his way to help anyone that needs it." That's really about the best thing you can say about anyone.

It is easy to understand why anyone feels the need to defend themselves agains a wolfpack, ESPECIALLY those that HIDE in the shadows behind some fake name. You know what you've done for the sport, your job, and others, how it is impossible to be all things to all people, at all times. Don't waste your time with these a-hole idiots, they aren't worth your effort or time. Screw them, let them fall off the face of the earth, because even if you could spin straw into gold they would complain that they would rather have diamonds. It isn't a coincidence that the same people continue to talk smack and take pot shots at others form a distance, they don't have the cojones to pick up the phone and speak directly, or for that matter to find that person at an event or show and ask to have a word. Take pride in the fact that while with the magazine it was the best one on the market bar none.

Dan,

Well I believe TOM quit western bass because of the issue and grief he received from posters that would constantly complain about the lateness of the magazine...I also believe he made reference to taking Stony out of business..whatever it his between Stony and TomL, but as far as the BassWest MAgazine...how should I feel as someone that gives money for a GREAT magazine and to only get slapped in the face by never receiving the friggin thing until only god knows when. I have been a subscriber since January and in 6 months i have only received two issues...are you kidding me, what kind of service is that, you pay the cost of the magazine and hope to get your full 6 issues, but at this rate i should have a subscription for the next two years to get all 6 issues. WOW talk about stretching your dollar and IM not the only one that sees this problem.

Is it all Toms fault...NO, but the problem was there when he was there and it continues to be a problem, when is enough enough? When does the problem get resolved? Do the customers not matter? Either way something needs to be done. As far as me accusing Tom, thats in jest for i saw him giving Stony some flak in earlier post.

I personally have no problem meeting Tom at an Even and talking to him, but bottom line something needs to be done, or possibly one of the good magazines wont have any subscribers because they will be all tired of waiting month after month to receive.

Tell ya what if I see you at an event, Ill personally come and introduce myself. Take Care and Tight Line.
