Berkley AC/ Western Rookie League TOC

Post by Randy Pringle »

For all you lucky participants of the 2010 Berkley AC/ WRL Tournament of Champions we have less than two weeks before we start the largest event of the year. On Friday, October 1st, in the city of Oakley, in the Centro-O-Mart shopping center in front of the Hook Line & Sinker, between 3 and 6 PM we will have the sponsors of the Berkley AC/ WRL present to show off some of the latest products available. Bob Delameter from Lowrance’s pro-staff will be present to answer any of your Lowrance questions. At 4:30 PM, you will have Mr. Kent Brown the host of Ultimate Bass KHTK 1140 radio station on your AM dial will be giving a seminar about, what? BASS! We will also have professional angler Big Jeff Huth working with Berkley and professional angler Joe Kopp spooling line for Berkley. This will be a great event, not only for the angler’s but for the spectators alike. The weigh-in will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3 starting at 2:20 PM.

For the participants, a few things:
Make sure you arrive on Friday for the MANDATORY CHECK – IN, get there early – don’t wait until the last minute. At 6 PM promptly the meeting will start. If you have not already mailed in your money or paid on line, you can bring CASH at check –in. No Checks. We will be giving out a survey on what you have spent preparing for this weeks’ event – gas, food, lodging, etc. Please make sure you fill it out and return it prior to the weigh-in on Sunday. The anglers that turn in this paperwork will have the opportunity to be drawn for a Lowrance HD5 unit on Sunday during the Awards Ceremony. You MUST be present to win.

If you have not given an exact count of who will be attending the Awards Banquet Dinner on Saturday night, contact Randy Pringle before Wednesday, September 22nd. We have to get the count in.

If you have not contacted your director in regards to this event, please contact Randy Pringle at
