I wolud say The Hammer in pearl white .....

The Mission is good as well - But I have been short striked on it alot lately.

Just stopped in at The Hook for some new baits and picked up the Black Dog Weed Slingers to try out.

I said to Rob as he was ringing my order up ... "This sport would of prolly been more cheaper if I had looked into Adultry."

He laughed along with me on that one   ~~ Till Jack (8yo) told mommy about my "funny" when we got home..... and asked her what Adultry is....

Why can't son's keep some stuff to us "Men" for Dock Talk ??

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Some good deals there on Fisermans website! Also to the Swimbabes is an excellent swimbait under 20.00 Call Anglers Marine Anaheim for them (they are a board sponsor) http://www.anglersmarine.com/

They will take care of you.

Now if you wanna go up to 30.00 you could include the BBZ and the AC Plug also excellent swimbaits!

From my limited experience and success, I would say the R2S Bottom Walkers, it the best at under twenty dollars..I would have to say it is the best at any price, it is the only swimbait I have caught any fish on..

Bass Harasser. People say it sucks, and it's not a Hudd by any means, it's much harder plastic, but it works.

Also the regular Castaic trout, is cheap and they make a 6, 8 and 10"

California Swimbabes "Baby E" and "Tiny E" get my vote, although I also am really fond of the LA Sliders.

I recently bought the Storm kickin minnow in 6", caught a nice 3 lber first cast, bait is very durable for a soft plastic swimmer, but also looks great in the water. Can get these from sportsmans for about $3.50 each and they are well worth it.

My two favorites under twenty are the Mission Fish and the Osprey. If I had to pick just one I'd go with the Osprey because its a bit more durable.
Mission fish are great baits and can be repaired with a good bait glue and really done up nice with a soldering iron if you're careful......but that is more of a home project.
