Big Bear Lake Bass Tournaments 2012: RESULTS

Big Bear Charter Fishing and Big Bear Cool Cabins would like to extend an invitation to six bass tournaments in Big Bear Lake in 2012. These tournaments are being held to promote bass fishing and Big Bear Lake. 90% of the entry fees will go to payout for prize money and the other 10% goes to the Municipal Water District to stock more bass in the lake. Our primary goal is to have fun and to encourage the sport of fishing. We also want to inform the general public that Big Bear Lake is a great place to bass fish. The tournaments well be held at B’s Backyard BBQ, a local restaurant on the lake. Food will be provided for tournament participants, there will also be 30 courtesy boat slips available on site. Big Bear Cool Cabins is offering discounts on cabin rentals for bass fisherman and their families. Big Bear Lake has many activities for those family members who do not participate in the event. I'm in! 9:00 a.m. start, so you won't freeze, and forecast for the weather is good, with temps in the 60's. The front coming through wed afternoon till thurs. a.m. won't change the conditions much, it's a warm storm with snow levels above 9,000 feet. Hope to see a few of you there.

Big Bear Bass Fishing and Big Bear Cool Cabins would like to thank all participants in our April 28th 2012 Aaron’s Big Bear Big Bass Tournament. All teams caught over twenty fish with an average weigh in of 2.5lbs.

First place goes to local team Scott Eberhard and Christopher “Stonecold” King. Their total fish weight was 16lbs 1oz. Their largest fish weighed in at 5lbs 8ozs. Second place goes to local team Aaron Armstrong and Matthew Keller. Their total fish weight was 11lbs 6ozs. Their largest fish weighed in at 3lbs 3ozs. Third place went to Bob Stephenson and Bob Muckelroy, their total fish weight was 10lbs 12 oz. Their largest fish weighed in at 3lbs. Congratulations to all participants!

The May tournament is in the books. Due to the weather on Saturday, we woke up to snow on the ground, the tournament was put off to Sunday which turned out to be an awesome day on Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Bass Fishing and Big Bear Cool Cabins would like to thank all participants in our May 2012 Aaron’s Big Bear Big Bass Tournament.

First place goes to Doug and Brian with a total weight of 12lbs 6oz. Their largest fish weighed in at 4lbs 4oz. A very close second place goes to Scott and Jim with a total weight of 12lbs 5oz, they landed the big fish of the day weighing in at 5lbs 3oz. Third place went to Aaron and Brad, their total fish weight of 11lbs 6oz. Their largest fish weighed in at 3lbs, all teams caught limits. Congratulations to all participants!
