boat storage

Post by skolnuts »

Hey, i currently store my boat at the lazy m for only 25$ a month, pretty cheap i know. But, anyone know of any other storage places that are maybe a little cleanier, nicer, paved, maybe have canopies or indoor units that aren't 150$ a month, yeah i know it might be stretch, but worth the try.

I just got a post card in the mail from Boatmasters. They moved to Livermore and are advertising indoor storage. Check it out.

Also, I know Sugarbardge and russos do some storage.

Hey skolnuts,

I have 2 questions.

#1 where is lazy m at?

#2 why do you want to move it?

$25.00 is cheap, I have never paid that much, I pay $40.00 now but that at a friends house.

David,

Lazy M is by Clifton Court Forebay. To get ther by land, take Byron highway north from Tracy, south from Discovery Bay. Make the turn off where their sign is!

I got a question for you folks who store your boats. What do you do with the batteries in your boat? Do you take them out each time and have them charged at home? If so, that's a huge hassle as some of us have FOUR batteries. Just wondering.

I keep my boat at an indoor boat and RV storage facility. I usually call the place the night before an outing to have the onboard charger plugged in overnight and when the boat is dropped off at the yard after a weekend of fishing I ask that the charger be plugged in once they move it back indoors.

I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the Stay N Charge unit that charges from the tow vehicle's alternator while en route to your water. That, in conjunction with my Dual Pro unit that charges three banks while running, should cut down on the time plugged into AC power...
