A Bobby's Perfect Buzz Tip: A buzz bait is a great way to cover a lot of water and catch bass. But, what if the cover you're fishing is too thick to run a traditional buzzer ... what if you're fishing open lanes through water willow, reeds, gator grass, or eel grass but the open hook of the traditional buzzer keeps picking up floating strands of grass fouling your retrieve ... what if the bass are trailing your buzzer but wont commit to it?

The answer and solution to all of these questions is the Snag Proof Bobby's Perfect Buzz. This awesome lure makes fishing a buzz bait so much more effective. Now I can throw into the heart of the heaviest cover and get the bass to react right in the cover or either draw them out where they'll bust just off the edge of the cover. And, the "Snag Proof" position of the 4/0 Gamakatsu hooks on the Perfect Buzz also keep floating debris from hitching a ride on my hooks when working open grass lanes. If there is one thing I know about fishing buzz baits it is that the bass want that lure clean. And then there is the coolest benefit to the Perfect Buzz which is I can stop my retrieve and the the Perfect Buzz will sit and float until I pick up my retrieve again. I've had days where I could see the bass waking behind my buzzer but never bite, but I've found that on those days if I stop my retrieve for two to three seconds and either give the Perfect Buzz a quick little "POP" with the rod tip to get the blade to turn and spit water or just pick up my retrieve those hesitant bass all of he sudden can't stand it the crush the Perfect Buzz. This is such an exciting lure and I highly recommend it. Oh, it is also an excellent "early" season buzz bait. Meaning that since you can keep this buzzer on top with a slow retrieve those big bass that move shallow when the water temp gets to the 54-degree range will react to the Bobby's Perfect Buzz.
