Why make 250,000 bucks and get taxed at a higher rate???
If someone does the math, you should have more money left over when you make around 200.000. Doesn't really promote business growth. The more small business make the more they will pay in tax normally, but now they have no incentives to make just over that mark.. it will cost them more. Then less taxes will be taken in with all the small business not wanting to make more. Make sense?

Check this out thats not the case the Demo have just figured it all out the USA has always been in a budget crisis why becuase they dont pay there bills never have and never will we owe the east trillions of dollars, what the Rep are gonna come in and clean it up?
Maybe we can just file BK and leave them hangin'. DOM FOR PREZ!!!! Sounds like you have a plan. Have you ever run a business and had somebody BK on you? Not fun. $250,000 is not very much income for a small business BTW. Ask Gene what would happen to his store if somebody BK'ed a million dollar liability to him? Poof, gone. BPS would probably have a tough time handling it. Fact is many businesses have that kind of exposure. Million dollar contracts are not that rare. I am sure there are many vendors with million dollar contracts with BPS that also serve Gene. 250K does not go too far in a business environment. As you can see by your ability to pay your responsibilities with a 100K. Business operating expenses are much higher for a whole business than a household and you couldn't even cover your responsibilities with a 100K. 250K is not rich. Glad you were able to get a car loan for a new Mustang after the BK. Thank Bush for that car. Thank Bush that more of us do not have THE ABILITY ANYMORE to BK a million bucks and buy an 08 Mustang.

I just spent the last two hours over at the store and all I can say is it was a bit chaotic. They are set up similiar to the Sports store over in Lincoln. I realize it was the grand opening but I had a totally different expectation as to what I was going to see. A lot of the items in the Catalog were not on display. I guess in time they will have other items on display.

I don't understand how Dick's Sporting Goods is going to survive in the same complex as BPS. The town of Manteca already has one of the best stores in N. Cal in the Fishermen's Wherehouse. I don't know who did the planning but someone will show the effect down the road.

I still like the Fishermen's Wherehouse and the Hook and with the economy in the state that it is in now I only hope all the new and old businesses prosper and stay afloat for many years to come.
Life is short enjoy each and everyday!

Oh, quit your carping will ya !

Rep are against raising takes.

Dems are for it.

My take on the whole thing is simple.

Raise takes as it's needed to. and try to balance a budget. WE all want the goodies, low cost this, low cost that. Free Education for all, Free this and free that. Low insurance rates. Low food cost. Low gas cost.

But the min we think some one is getting a handout for something for nothing, or they get more than us, or their house is better or bigger, or their boat is bigger or better, we start to whine and spit about it !!!

It every one's else fault. Whine, Whine, Whine !!!!!

I had my own business for 18 years, and I just shut up and payed my takes cause that was the price of doing business.

I use to buy gas at .20 cents a gal, not any more, do I like it , no !

But I pay it cause its the price of driving a car. haven't had a ticket in years. but my rates still go up, do i like it no, but its the cost of owning a car and being responsible.

My first car cost less than $700.00 my 06 pick up cost $35 K and I payed cash.

I use to pay less than $150.00 for Kaiser Insurance now, my policy cost over $750.00 a month and that's with a huge deductible !

Do I like it ? No, but its what it cost or I can do with out it.

My house cost me $35,000.00, now its worth over $350,000.00. but I still pay on a $35 K loan.

I use to get $ 1.65 hr now I get over $25.00

I went in the hole once and it took me 7 years to craw out. I could have gone BK, but I decided to not, Why ! I honored my Debt's I got my self in the mess and I didn't ask for a court to get me out. I have pride.

I saved my money and put my kids through Collage, no loans, just worked hard and saved and the boys did to. When they started Collage they each had $10 grand saved up.

You are all a bunch of whiners. You live in this Country, The Greasiest, most Free , Nation on the face of the planet. Were you have the right to crab about everything and anybody.

I learned, that there is no free lunch, Nobody is going to help me except myself. and there are two truths. Death and Takes !!!

You all want something for nothing, You want big wages, big benifet packages, expensive homes, exspensive cars, boats, trucks on and on and on ! YOU DON'T SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM GOING OUT AND BUYING $350.00 REELS AND $350.00 RODS AT THE DROP OF A HAT OR $80.00 SWIM BAITS, MORE,MORE,MORE & MORE.

Some here are complaining that they cant seem to but it together on a HUNDRED GRAND a YEAR. I wish I made that much a year.

But i don't, BUT I DO LIVE WITH IN MY MEANS !!!!!!!

Will ya please quit your bellyaching and crying about how ya just don't seem to get a head on what ya make and how its the GOVERNMENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU DO !!!

WHAT HAPPENED TOO YA !! WERE IS YOUR PRIDE !! AND SELF DIGNITY, OR DO YOU EXPECTS SOME ONE ELSE TO MAKE IT FOR YOU AND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SIT AND FISH AND COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW EVERY ONE ELSE SURE HAS IT BETTER THAN YOU !!!

Just got back from there, pretty amazing the work they put into them stores. Place is really nice and pricing on items is very resonable. I'll continue to support the local guys but i'm going to be dropping some money at BPS as well!
