built in transducer for Minnkota Maxxum 101

Post by Randy Walker »

Has anybody ever had to replace the (universal sonar) built-in transducer on the Max 101? How much did it cost?

Thanks,
Randy

the cost of the transducer is $74.00 that's with a 42" shaft.

Do you have a Maxium Pro or just a maxium. Most all Max Pro units have US2 sonar and the Maxium will have just US. There is a slight difference in price. It will be printed on the top plastic cover

Thanks for the heads up on that Gene...I actually got the Max Pro...did not know that there was a difference. Do you sell the transducers at the shop?

I am hoping that it is not the transducer, but the cable looks good and I can't think of anything else it could be, since my dash graph works fine. I'm gonna try another unit to see if it works properly....
otherwise I will be in the shop to pick up a new td...if you stock them.

Thanks Gene...

can you take the unit that is not working and plug it into your dash power and transducer, that will tell you if you unit is bad or the transducer.
I have most of the Lowrance transducers in stock. I may have the MK transducer in stock i will look.
