Buying a Fishing Boat?

Hey guys i need some advice. I'm looking at rafts to buy for going on lakes n creeks. I got one http://www.sevylor.com/hunting.html (the top one) that i'm looking at for $289, gonna get some oars and a lil 12v trolling motor for $59 that attaches to it. What do you guys think? good idea or bad idea?

Have ya thought about a kickboat. They are very easy to get on the water, easy to modify and if you get the tournament bug you can join us out on the water for a little friendly competition. check out http://www.bass-n-tubes.com if you go to the forum you can ask and get lots of great information about kickboats and other manpowered fishing vessels.
