This is just another pork barrel project that will line the pockets of the people who own that land, and the companies who will do the construction. It will never serve the rest of us, but we're the ones who will have to pay for it.
Spend the money on reinforcing the Delta levee system, and on better use of the water we already have.

Were getting a Mega casino in Madera co. 2 1/2 miles north of madera off freeway 99
208 room hotel hugh casino they broke ground on sept 6th. Bring with it 2000 to 2500 jobs. At the cost of $400 million dollars and being built in 15 - 18 months opening in 2026.
