carrot stix any good?

anybody use these yet any pros cons? was thinking about gettin one cause of the price but if they are not worth it i will spend the extra 50 bucks for dobyns or powell

Contact Charley Alamassey at West Marine. He uses the carrot stick and I have not seen him loose a fish yet..I thought they felt pretty good. He can tell you all about them. I got the CLTX731 MH for dropshot and I love it. Course, I caught a fish with it on the first cast of the rod, which happened to be my first cast of day 2 at Havasu FLW...so it's become my "lucky" rod. It has good action and is versitle. Used it for Texas rig as well. The best thing about them is they are only $149 for any model. I can't wait till the 8' swimbait rods come out.

I have the parobolic bend casting 7'2 or 7'3"??? I have a low speed curado (3.8:1) on it for my DEEP diving crankbaits. GREAT rod!!!!

The lifetime "no hassle" guarantee means if you buy the Carrot Stix and you happen to break it (eye, tip, butt,etc) just take the rod and the reciept to your local West Marine and they will hand you the same rod and you leave ( no money needed). West Marine will send the rod back for you. That simple.

Buzzbait, you may be looking at the "Boyd Duckett" Signature Series Carrot Stix.

They are a very light rod, and are very much an example of the new wave of rod styles.

Considering that the designer is the guy behind Airrus and the Daiwa Steez rods, they probly worth the $150.

And they're not "UGLY", they are "UNIQUE"!
