Castaic #3 Anglers Marine C.A. Tour 2015

04-25-15 is the 3rd stop on the 2015 Anglers Marine 2015 Customer Appreciation Tour. The last 2 years Castaic events have had great fishing with lots of limits, so hopefully this year will be no different. We will be launching from the main ramp and have a drive by weigh in in the upper lot. Please make sure you clean and dry and obey all lake rules and speed limits. The AOY races are hot and remember its your 2 best finishes. Due to the closing of DVL we will be having our final/Championship at Lake Havasu on 06-13-15 where we will award all the AOY cash for each division, an extra 4K in Ranger Cup cash and a $27000.00 Ranger Z117 boat with a 115 Merc Outboard. The grand prize will be given away by random fun draw. Hope to see you all at Castaic on April 25th. Rick G.

What time should we be in line?
Are we using the main ramp kiosk, or the gate before that?

Team Bling will be there representing. The Anglers Marine Castaic tournament is coming up pretty quick. The lake is very low. Do you know how to use the Navioncs SonarChart to adjust the lake level on you Lowrance fish finder? Navionics

For those of you wanted some details on this Saturday's Anglers Marine Customer Appriciation tournament at Castaic,,, I just spoke to Rick, and he asked me to give you all an update. Rick just left the lake, and the lake staff will be opening the "auxilary" gate at 5:00am Saturday. With the public going in at 6:15,,, We should be able to be launched and released before they get in. That is the gate just below the Main entrance. The lake staff has asked that everyone go up the hill past the gate and "safely" turn around. There is a turn-out that makes that easy about a 1/4 mile up the road. That way everyone will be lined up on the right side of the road, approaching the gate. For those of you who have not been to Castaic in a while,,, I am sure you have heard the lake is very low. If you are going towards the end of the "fish arm", make sure you watch for the 5 mph buoys. The Sheriffs will write tickets.
Rick will be doing a further update this afternoon. These events are a lot of fun, and well run,,, hot dog deliveries on the water, tri tip sandwitchs during the weigh in,,, Great 100% Payouts ,,, Jay Poore and I will be looking forward to seeing you all Saturday!
